The luxury footwear company Jimmy Choo has created an interesting online campaign using FourSquare, the geolocation Social Media application for the IPhone. Find Jimmy Choo based on their FourSquare location updates and you could win a pair of their trainers.

Wrangler is such a drag!

An interesting interactive piece by Wrangler on how to make their online collection a little more fun to browse. You drag the model around and he reacts to the mouse movements. Still not live, but you can preview how it works in the following video:

Also interesting is their previous interactive where you can click the video and change the outfit for the model performing the same sequence of movements with different outfits on. Website here: http://eu.wrangler.com/bluebell/

Martin Angelov has a stab at reinventing the bike commute

He has taken an innovative approach to the problem of overcrowding of traffic and even bicycles in problematic areas. The idea is to create sky lanes for bicycles to move around without being limited to the amount of road available:

Kolelinia is a city fly attempt. We are born to move, this makes us alive. The transport is not only a transport, it has to be an experience! The quality of this process reflects directly on the quality of our life. Is it possible to achieve a completely new level of transportation with minimum resources?
Kolelinia is a concept for riding our own bikes on a steel wire, a new type of bicycle-lanes…

This doesn’t replace the normal biking, this only helps in problematic zones!
Could be a bridge type, a longer transportation line or a special designed and independent touristic line. Of course it is too early to talk about mass use. See the story of the project.

W3haus creates animation for DCSF for this year’s BETTs show

We had the pleasure of creating an animation for DCSF (Department for Children, schools and families) in the BETTs event last week. The animation shows how the DCSF helps Children of all school ages progress and achieve their maximum potential in education. I had never seen the Olympia venue with all the available space used up! Apparently, BETTs is the biggest event of its kind in Europe.

First of all, here is the finished animation:

It was interesting to see different peoples reactions to the Animation

Competition for people's attention was very high!

Many people would stop and watch the whole animation
